Hi! My name is Ji Su. I'm a digital product designer specializing in user experience and interaction design at Capital One. I used to be a lab researcher studying the neurobiological and molecular mechanisms of appetite control, but now I apply my problem solving skills I gained in the lab to designing and creating innovative products.
I approach design problems with a clear high-level strategy and methodological approach. I can work with you to create detailed product and research plans to achieve your business outcomes and goals.
I design for the experiences of the users when they are using a product, with the goal of fulfilling both business objectives and user needs, with interfaces that are both functional and beautiful. Some regular methods I use are sketching, affinity mapping, wireframing, and prototyping.
I can also translate my designs into code and build responsive landing/marketing pages or portfolio websites for your business.
My experience in lab research has equipped me with creative problem solving and project management skills needed to solve design challenges. I dissect all problems with a careful methodological approach, paying close attention to fine details as much as the big picture to ensure overall quality.
